About Us

Strange Bird Productions

SBP was founded by Raven Petretti-Stamper in 2000. We have produced many loved themed shows in NYC and our latest project is no exception. Till There Was You, an atypical romantic comedy written by our founder, should see its world premiere

production soon.

2020: A Fantasy

To learn more about 2020: A Fantasy, Raven Petretti-Stamper's full-length comedy about marriage, with an emphasis on politics please Contact Us. The show debuted at Shetler Studios in Oct 2019.

Celestial Challenge

Watch what happens when a team of angels go from doing the good work to Team Churn Out Challenges per the Celestial One's wishes in this comedic romp about no good angels.

Paul Blinder

Paul Blinder is an Athletic Director who’s found himself summoned to the principal’s office by his friend and boss, Sally. There are scandals in the school district and it turns out management feels he is responsible and should be terminated. Paul deftly defends his position and work ethic  as Sally refutes his claims and tries to maintain her position and their friendship. A waffling tale  where only the audience can decide who is right.

Never Let Go

This multi character tale, written by Raven Petretti,  is about a woman who finds herself trapped in an elevator with People's Sexiest Man Alive. Try not to laugh as they fall in love and attempt escape. This show has starred: Bridget Trama, Bryant Boon, Michael Nemeth.

My Friend, Doubt

My Friend, Doubt is about Betty Ray Robinson, a somewhat famous writer who has been hiding out in the suburbs for 20 years. She seems confident about taking her time to create the follow-up to her best known novel, All The Way Home, but then Doubt shows up at her door. He tries unsuccessfully to make her give in to her fears as she tries to change his ways and make him a beacon of light. Does Doubt persist or give in in during this whimsical tale?
